Can you believe that it's the year 2017?! Omg. I wish there were brakes to this thing called life because it seems like just yesterday I was in the 4th grade!

I'm extremely excited for this year because I have another calendar year to accomplish all that I didn't accomplish in 2016. I have so much in store as it pertains to my personal life, my blog, my makeup artistry and even my business and I have choice but to carry out each vision.

Have you ever been so inspired that you had to just get up and out of your comfort zone?! I woke up so incredibly inspired and determined to create that I craved breakfast food. Now, anyone who knows me personally, knows that I do not eat breakfast food. I mean, who has time for breakfast when you have a face to beat?

Okay, nevermind. That's another topic for another day. Lol

In all seriousness, I have never cared for breakfast food for various reasons. Now I could itemize the list but I feel like judgment would be cast. BUT I said all that to say, I was so inspired, I said hey, I need some fresh air. Let's get IHOP. o_0

So I went to a local IHOP, party of 1, and I got a breakfast sampler ( because I didn't realize breakfast had gotten so complex over the years). And you know what, I sat there and wrote in my new planner, iPad and journal and negotiated with Distrubutor for a new business I'm launching later this year, and I ENJOYED myself!

My best friend called and was in utter disbelief when I told her where I was. But you know what, this year I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. I don't want what's comfortable and mundane. I want to try bold and challenging!

Now how's that for the start of something new and invigorating?!
