8 years and counting, I am NO LONGER bulimic nor do I suffer from bulimia.

It's crazy what can plague your mind thanks to the media's

Perception of beauty....You're too dark or you're too fat.

Your hair isn't long enough, if you don't wear designer clothes.... you're wack...

Idolatry is just as prevalent today as it was before.

And if you don't know who you are or whose you are, you'll wind up spiritually poor.

Wanting to be someone else because you feel inadequate

Which will never equate truth. So today I'm an advocate.

For every young girl who never felt pretty enough.

Know that you're beautiful, one of a kind and just a diamond in the rough.

I withheld my secret for a very long time and even now I don't talk about it often. But today I say Thank you Jesus for renewing my mind and keeping me from a coffin!
