Cheers: 2 Years

Today makes 2 years that I've been living in Houston! February 28th, 2014 at 11:59pm I pulled into the driveway of the new place I was to call "Home".

The journey hasn't in the least bit been easy but I've grown so much!

It feels good to know I'm exactly where God wants me to be.

And though I love Lansing, Michigan, leaving was the best thing I could've ever done. I've been exposed to so much more upon moving here.
I've said this since I was a child but sometimes I honestly feel like my life is a movie. The people I've been able to meet, the places and things I've attended, the things I've been blessed to experience.... Nothing short of amazing.

I thought I was living, then I relocated and it got even better!
And it never really dawned on me how much my life seemingly glittered until I heard it from someone else's perspective. Sometimes you just get so accustomed to a way of living, that you don't realize that it's not the "norm".
I mean, I don't think I live a "flashy" life.
And I don't make nearly as much money as people think I do.
I don't wear super expensive clothes.
I haven't yet traveled the world.
But based off the texts and emails I receive on a daily basis, people thing the complete opposite.
I once had someone ask if I was "living off of my parents retirement fund"
Hahahahahahaha greatest question I've ever been asked.
The truth is, I'm the product of an early teenage pregnancy and a blended family. So no.... I don't lol...
But do you want to know my secret?
Prayer.
Prayer and righteous living.
It may sound cliche but honest to God, I simply communicate to God like he's my bff and try my best to live as He instructed. I try to study my Word so I can put God to the test. Often times you'll hear me say "YOU said your word is true and cannot lie so prove yourself!" And when I mess up, I repent and keep it moving.

But at the end of the day, Hebrews 11:6  tells us that He's a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

So no things aren't perfect. But "When I look back over my life, and I think things over, I can't truly say that I've been blessed..."

Lolol. In all serousness, God has supplied my every need. I simply delight myself in Him, He, in turn, gives me the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4)

But it doesn't end there because you too have the ability to live a victorious life!

You just have to be willing to make the sacrifice...

Cheers to 2 years in the H and victorious living!

Fabulously Yours,

KierraLanice
